Biography

Loree Birkenback is the Head of School and has been a part of the St. James community since 1993.  Loree has her Bachelor's of Science degree from Louisiana Tech University with a Masters of Arts in Education/Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.  She is also American Montessori Society certified for Elementary.  Loree has over 30 year experience in teaching and leading in a Montessori environment.   

Loree lives in Rockwall with her husband and has five children and ten grandchildren.  She loves traveling to spend time with her family!  Loree also enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking, Pilates, and water aerobics.
