St. James Board Approves Academic Calendars for 26-27 and 27-28 School Years Highlights of the approved 2026 - 2027 calendar include a first day of school on August 12 and the last day of classes on May 20. For the 2027 - 2028 school year, classes will begin on August 11 and conclude on May 23.
